My name is Bryan Dennis Rusnak,
I was born on July 10, many years ago.
I'm single at the present time.
I recently moved back to Chesapeake , Virginia.
I will never have enough friends, and am always looking for new ones, want to be one?
Interests: people watching (interesting creatures), computers, photography, snow
skiing (mostly at Seven Springs and Mont Tremblant, Canada, finally made it out west to Jackson
Hole, Wyoming, what a blast), bike riding, started getting back into tennis and softball, movies, music (worked in the music business since '79), and many other things not to be mentioned here.
Favorite TV shows: Who's Line, ER, Six Feet Under, Entourage and a few others (not
enough time to watch much tv) and of course movies (nothing like surround sound!).
As you can tell I am an avid Winnie-the-Pooh fan. (check out the links to some
Winnie-the-Pooh pages on my links page).
Thats just one of my interests (I do have others, just too many to list and too many to keep up
with, can I buy more time?), stay tuned for more to come.
| Currently... WORK! Yes, that's about all I've been up to. Trying to decide what to do with this web site (as you can see I lead a real interesting life). Beware: my humor will get you into trouble! |
A little background info... |
|
I currently work with Nate Sparks and the Pamunkey River Ramblers as their audio tech. I've worked in the local and semi-national music circuit with some of the best local musicians, including the Lewis McGehee Group (with Karl Werne and Michael McCarthy), the opening act for Bruce Hornsby in his debut tour, for about eight years. I still currently work part-time for the city of Virginia Beach at the Vriginia Beach Convention Center (formerly Pavilion Convention Facility) where I do setup work for conventions and work in the theater (when it had one) covering all aspects of productions from setup to lighting and audio. I've worked such events as the Marlboro Music Festival, Sarah McLachlan, Joan Baez to national and local dance companies and competitions. |

I've been into computers since the early 80's, my first computer was an old Texas Instruments (you know the one you hooked up to your tv and ran with a tape deck, my how things have changed). I graduated (with Honors) from Commonwealth College (classes designed by Rhode Island School of Electronics, one of the oldest electronics schools in the country) in 84 for Electronic Technology, where I reprogrammed the school training computers, the instructors and manufacturers said that this could not be done that they were only designed to be used for training and had no real practical user functions (so, what do they know). They incorporated my accomplishments into the school curriculum (but that being some time ago, a lot has changed since then). I worked as the computer
operations supervisor for two years at one of the local businesses until moving on to go back to
school. I have sinced obtained my Computer Science degree from Tidewater Community College. I
worked a little over two years at COPI-Q as their network support and PC specialist where I fell
into the position as web master for their web site. I've also been freelancing for the past ten
years (or so) as a computer consultant and have since started my own business, Den Productions. I have worked with Virtual Branch
Technologies, in conjunction with Cygnusoft Inc.,
(another great group of very talented people) developing and designing navigation and operations
for virtual branches (like ATM & MAC machines but much more) for credit unions throughout the
country, which means I traveled alot (and it was free!). |
